This full-time nursing position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential healthcare services in an educational setting in Lawrence, MA. Working onsite across multiple campuses, the role requires dedication to student health and safety from PreK through 8th grade. The contract runs through June 18, 2026, with a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering professional nursing care to students and staff in compliance with school health policies
- Collaborating with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers to manage student health needs
- Administering medication, treating minor injuries, and managing chronic conditions as needed
- Conducting health screenings and maintaining accurate records according to regulatory standards
- Providing health education and promoting wellness initiatives within the school community
- Traveling to different campuses to ensure consistent nursing coverage
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license
- Comfortable commuting between multiple school locations within Lawrence, MA
- Ability to pass required fingerprinting and CORI background checks
- Experience working in school health or pediatric nursing preferred
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
