Provide specialized nursing care in an elementary school setting to support a trach-dependent first-grade student requiring constant supervision. This part-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to deliver one-on-one care to a young learner, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being throughout the educational day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care tailored to the needs of a trach-dependent student, including tracheostomy management and monitoring.
- Maintain thorough documentation of the students health status and any interventions.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or health concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all policies and protocols to ensure compliance and safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Pennsylvania RN license required.
- Previous experience working with pediatric trach-dependent patients preferred.
- Strong understanding of school-based nursing and child healthcare needs.
- Ability to provide compassionate, attentive, and proactive nursing care.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Location: Lancaster, PA (Elementary School Setting)
Schedule Details:
