This full-time, onsite nursing opportunity is based in a Lakewood, NJ school setting, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement. The role focuses on delivering both direct and indirect healthcare services to students, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities include providing direct healthcare services such as assessments, first aid, and emergency care. The nurse will administer medications and closely monitor students medical needs according to individualized healthcare plans. Accurate maintenance of health records and documentation of care provided are essential functions of the role. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and school administrators is critical to support students with special health needs. Additionally, the nurse will conduct screenings including vision and hearing, referring students for further evaluation when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Authorization to work in the US
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
