A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Minnesota to provide skilled nursing care within a school setting in Lakeville, MN. This full-time contract position involves delivering health services and support to students, helping to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and health screenings for students in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Administer medications, monitor health conditions, and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively regarding student health needs
- Support health education initiatives and promote wellness within the school community
Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and accurately
