This full-time contract position invites you to play a crucial role in the schools Health Room, providing compassionate and skilled care for students in grades K-12.

Your expertise as a licensed RN will ensure a healthy environment where children can thrive and focus on learning. Work collaboratively with faculty, families, and healthcare professionals to promote the wellness of every student on campus.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in New York
• Previous experience in a school health setting or working with children is highly valued
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a safe, caring, and supportive environment for diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage student health concerns and chronic conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and first aid as needed
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with policies
• Develop care plans for students with specific medical needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students health and educational goals
• Promote health education, hygiene, and wellness initiatives throughout the school
