Job Description
Provide specialized nursing care in a middle school setting focused on supporting a student with complex medical needs. This full-time, onsite contract position involves delivering dedicated 1:1 care, including tracheostomy support, to ensure the students health and safety throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care tailored to the students medical requirements.
- Monitor and manage tracheostomy care and associated medical equipment.
- Collaborate with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing health conditions.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with BSN required for the state of Indiana.
- Proven experience in pediatric nursing.
- Strong clinical skills in tracheostomy care and respiratory support.
- Ability to work effectively in an educational environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
