Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support the health and well-being of elementary students in a dynamic school environment on a part-time contract basis. This rewarding opportunity involves providing comprehensive care to a diverse student population, including those with diabetes and autism, in an elementary health room setting. The role is structured for 21 hours per week, with flexibility to choose three full working days.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license required
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred
• Skill in providing support to children with diabetic and autistic needs
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act independently and respond effectively to urgent situations
• CPR/BLS certification required

Core Responsibilities:

• Administer daily and emergency healthcare to students, particularly for diabetic management and autism-related needs
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with faculty and families
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policy
• Provide health education and medication administration
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student health matters
• Respond calmly and effectively to a variety of healthcare challenges that may arise throughout the school day
• Promote a safe and nurturing environment for all students
