Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Missouri in good standingno license issues
  • Recent pediatric experience (ICU, ER, or school nursing strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with computer-based charting and technology
  • Confident working independently in health rooms and with all grade levels (PreK-12)
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing building assignments and schedules
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Not a new graduate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Float among multiple school sites and cover varied shifts (7:00am4:30pm)
  • Primary RN for assigned schools after initial 2-week training
  • Deliver comprehensive health services, including on field trips
  • Accurately chart student health data and manage emergencies
  • Communicate promptly regarding daily assignments and collaborate with district teams
