A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in pediatrics to provide comprehensive school health services in a dynamic, travel-based role near Kansas City, MO. This position involves flexible, district-wide coverage, offering a unique chance to impact students from PreK through 12th grade across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver general health room nursing care at various locations throughout the district.
- Support students during field trips and at multiple school sites in a typical day.
- Provide health assessments, emergency care, and health education for PreK-12 students.
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with school staff and parents.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet the needs of different school environments.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri.
- Experience specializing in pediatrics (PEDS) essential.
- Comfortable working with a broad age range of students, from early childhood through adolescence.
- Ability to travel within the district and manage a variable schedule.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (School district travel assignment)
