We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a school-based opportunity near North Kansas City, MO. This is a dynamic, flexible role supporting students across multiple school sites.
Position Details:
- Start: ASAP through May 22
- Option to extend for ESY: June 1 June 25 (MondayThursday)
- Hours: 2225 hours per week
- Schedule: Varies by site (typically between 7:00 AM 4:30 PM)
- Weekly schedules provided (subject to change based on student needs, field trips, and staff coverage)
Role Overview:
- Float between school sites, supporting PreK12th grade students
- Serve as the primary health room nurse after a 2-week training period
- Provide general nursing care, respond to health needs, and assist with field trips as needed
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with district staff
- Utilize electronic systems for charting and documentation
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Missouri)
- Recent pediatric experience required (ICU, ER, or school-based preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- Comfortable working with a wide age range (PreK12)
- Strong multitasking and technology skills
- Flexible and adaptable to schedule changes
