This contract role is ideal for a Certified School Nurse (CSN) with a deep sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. As a vital member of the health and student support teams, you'll serve as the primary manager of the health office, ensuring holistic care and promoting a healthy school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a Professional Educator License (PEL) endorsement for Certified School Nurse
- Prior experience as a CSN is highly desirable
- Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a significant advantage
- Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, and a strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to attend and participate in in-person interviews as part of the selection process
What Youll Do:
- Take charge of the school health office, providing direct care and maintaining health records
- Conduct thorough medical reviews and collaborate with staff during the IEP and 504 evaluation processes as part of the core CSN duties
- Foster cooperative working relationships with students, families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized health and educational plans
- Serve as a key resource for health and wellness education, promoting positive health outcomes throughout the school community
- Ensure consistency, dependable attendance, and responsive care for students ongoing needs
This assignment runs from August 2026 through May 2027, full-time at 37.5 hours per week, serving a supportive educational community.
