Provide specialized nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a school setting, focusing on pediatric patients and diabetic care. This part-time, contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of students during after-school hours in Joliet, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to school-aged children, with an emphasis on diabetic management and pediatric health needs.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor students' health conditions, and provide emergency care as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to create individualized healthcare plans.
- Educate students and staff on health practices and diabetes management.
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with all health policies and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
- Competency in diabetic care and managing related health emergencies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in an educational environment.
- Availability for part-time work, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, from February 23, 2026, to May 2, 2026.
