A contract opportunity is available for a full-time Registered Nurse experienced in school nursing, located onsite in Orange, NJ. This role supports a school-wide population across the entire building and requires a commitment of 35 hours per week through June 26, 2026, with an immediate start.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care within a school setting
- Managing health plans and medical needs of students throughout the building
- Collaborating with school staff and administration to ensure student wellness
- Maintaining accurate health records and responding to emergencies as needed
- Ensuring compliance with school health policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license and school nurse certification in New Jersey
- Previous experience specifically in a school nursing environment (clinical-only experience will not be accepted)
- Ability to work onsite full-time and closed on location as required
- Completion of TB test and physical examination
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting for both agency and district clearance
- Availability for in-person and/or Zoom interviews
