Job Description
This full-time, onsite role is based in a school setting in Jackson, NJ, offering direct and indirect healthcare services to students. The position is contract to hire and focuses on providing comprehensive nursing support within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct healthcare services, including assessments, first aid, and emergency care for students.
- Administer medications and monitor students' medical needs following individualized healthcare plans.
- Maintain accurate health records and document all care provided meticulously.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support students with special health requirements.
- Conduct health screenings such as vision and hearing tests, and refer students for additional evaluation when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license registered in New Jersey.
- Authorization to work legally in the United States.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
