Step into a rewarding role supporting students with unique needs as an Overnight Registered Nurse for a specialized educational setting. This onsite, contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in a school dedicated to serving visually impaired students. Work closely with a caring team, providing overnight care from 11 pm to 7 am, Sunday through Thursday, in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What youll bring:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Pennsylvania)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- Prior school nursing experience is ideal
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to medical situations overnight
- Strong communication and organization skills
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and caring for students overnight, addressing health concerns as they arise
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support each student's needs
- Providing immediate care and triage in emergencies
- Educating staff and students on health and wellness best practices as needed
