Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid RN license in the state of Texas, in good standing
- Previous experience as a school nurse or in a pediatric setting preferred
- Strong skills in medication administration and health assessments
- Ability to manage medical emergencies with calm professionalism
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- CPR and First Aid certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to school protocol
- Provide first-line response for injuries and illnesses in the school health room
- Record and monitor student health information with confidentiality
- Communicate clearly with school personnel and parents regarding student health needs
- Maintain a clean and organized health room environment
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student well-being
