A school-based nursing role is available for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide health support and medication administration in a school setting. This substitute position offers a contract assignment from January 21st to February 6th, 2026, working approximately 35 hours per week in Humble, TX.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering medications safely and accurately to students
- Assisting and managing the health room to respond to student health needs
- Monitoring student health and providing first aid as necessary
- Collaborating with school staff to maintain a healthy and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Experience or interest in school nursing or pediatric care
- Ability to handle medication administration following established protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependability and ability to work within a school health team
