Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas, unencumbered and active
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Ability to confidently handle medication administration and health room procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, staff, and parents
- Familiarity with school health protocols and documentation standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments to students in accordance with physician orders and district policy
- Provide care and support in the health room for students experiencing illness or injury during the school day
- Maintain accurate student health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with school staff to manage individual health care plans and respond to emergencies as needed
- Serve as a health resource for students and faculty within the school community
Assignment Details:
- Substitute RN coverage from January 21st to February 6th, 2026
- 35 hours per week during standard school hours
- Contract position offering hands-on nursing in a supportive educational setting
