This full-time school nursing position in Humble, TX offers an opportunity to support K-12 students by providing essential health care services within a school setting. The contract runs from late January to mid-February, Monday through Friday, with a focus on managing the health room and attending to the needs of students throughout the day.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Texas RN license, Texas LVN license, or a Compact RN license
- CPR certification required
- Experience working in school health or pediatric environments preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and management of minor injuries and illnesses
- Maintain health records and manage student health plans
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure student wellness
- Oversee daily operations of the health room and respond promptly to student health concerns
