A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with school health experience to serve as a Substitute RN in a K-12 educational environment in Houston, TX. This contract role spans from January 21st to February 6th, 2026, with a commitment of 35 hours per week, offering a great chance to apply nursing skills within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications accurately and safely to students as prescribed
- Assist in managing the health room, providing care and support to students with health needs
- Monitor and document student health concerns and communicate effectively with school staff
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory guidelines in school health services
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Valid RN licensure with prior experience in school nursing preferred
- Skilled in medication administration and basic health assessments
- Ability to work independently and manage emergencies calmly and effectively
