This opportunity is for an experienced School-Based RN or LPN to provide healthcare services within a school setting located in Hoschton, GA. The role involves delivering nursing care to young students, supporting their health needs during the school day, and working closely with school staff and families.
Qualifications:
- Valid GA RN or LPN license
- Recent experience with tracheostomy care within the past year
- Prior school nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with children aged 4 years
Job Details:
- Location: Hoschton, GA
- Contract position
- 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Serve and assess the health of 4-year-old students
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care and medication according to established protocols
- Monitor and manage chronic and acute health conditions, including trach care
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to provide a safe, healthy learning environment
