Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of general nursing principles, including assessment, care planning, and emergency response
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or urgent situations
• CPR/BLS certification (current)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to students presenting with injuries, illnesses, or chronic conditions in the schools health room
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to state and district guidelines
• Assess, document, and communicate students health needs and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students with individualized health plans
• Educate students and staff on topics such as hygiene, infection control, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with privacy standards and district policy
• Participate in emergency response drills and contribute to campus health and safety planning
