Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with adolescents is strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Commitment to student health, wellness, and confidentiality
- Flexibility to work per diem shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high school students, including administering medications and treatments
- Assess and triage acute illnesses and injuries within the school setting
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Support the health education needs of students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a safe and healthy school environment
- Serve as a resource for managing chronic conditions and promoting overall wellness
