Located in a vibrant community near Jamestown, NY, youll play a vital role within the schools health room, providing expert care to children and adolescents throughout their educational journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license in New York State
- Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
- Confidence in assessment, triage, and responding to student health needs
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care for students with acute and chronic health concerns
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Promote a healthy, safe school environment through education and preventative care
- Assist with health screenings, immunization compliance, and care plan development
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.50 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
