A part-time opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized skills in pediatric care, located onsite in Goshen, IN. This assignment involves providing 1:1 nursing support to a middle school student requiring tracheostomy care. The position is contract-based and will continue through the end of the school year, offering a rewarding environment to utilize your clinical expertise in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a middle school student with complex medical needs
- Manage tracheostomy care and monitoring throughout the school day
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Document and report health status and progress accurately
- Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or health concerns
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with BSN required for Indiana
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric nursing, especially with tracheostomy support
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment with children
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite assignment in Goshen, Indiana
- Full-time hours with immediate start available
