A travel nursing opportunity is available in Goleta, CA, for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential support within a school setting. This part-time position requires approximately 3 hours per week, fully in person, with flexible scheduling options allowing hours to be spread throughout the week or completed in a single day. The assignment begins ASAP, with a start date of June 3, 2026.

Responsibilities include conducting a triennial reassessment for a student with complex medical needs. This role involves updating health care plans and coordinating with a medical aide to ensure comprehensive care. A critical part of the position is meeting the student and their parents face-to-face at least once to evaluate and address health concerns effectively.

Qualified candidates should possess skills and experience in:

• Registered Nursing (RN) with case management expertise or as a school nurse
• Conducting health assessments and developing individualized health care plans
• Collaborating with medical aides and supporting students with complex medical needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and school staff
