A part-time nursing opportunity is available for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide specialized care in a school setting located in Framingham, MA. This contract position involves working directly with a young student in a preschool environment, supporting health and safety with a focus on individualized medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to a 3-year-old student who is ambulatory, active, and requires a tracheostomy and ventilator management during illness
- Accompany the student on transportation before and after school, ensuring safe and continuous care during van rides
- Monitor health status and administer treatments as needed in the school setting
- Collaborate closely with school staff and family to support the students well-being throughout the school day
Qualifications:
- Current and active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
- Prior school nursing experience required
- Ability to complete mandatory CORI background check and fingerprinting process
- Availability to work onsite at the preschool on Mondays and Fridays
- Must be comfortable riding with the student on the van during transport times
Position Details:
- Part-time contract role starting ASAP through June 30, 2026
