This full-time, onsite position places you at the heart of a single school, where you will support approximately 78 students on IEPs. You'll hone your nursing skills while collaborating with school teams, broadening your perspective through exposure to diverse workplace practices and innovative leadership styles. Expand your expertise by engaging in both health screening and consultation, all while building a resume that stands out for its adaptability and dedication.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified School Nurse License for California
- PPS Credential
- Experience conducting hearing and vision screenings (preferred)
- Ability to train and consult with staff on student health concerns (e.g., allergies, feeding tubes, seizures)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer hearing and vision screeners for IEP testing
- Support and consult with staff on health protocols related to allergies, feeding tubes, seizures, and other varied student needs
- Serve as a nursing resource for all students on IEPs throughout the school year
