Step into a dynamic contract opportunity where your expertise as a Certified School Nurse (CSN) will make a meaningful impact on student well-being. This full-time, onsite position is centered at a single school and sets the stage for a fulfilling assignment for the upcoming 26/27 school year, beginning in August.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting hearing and vision screenings, particularly for IEP testing, ensuring every student receives the support they need for academic success. Beyond screenings, youll be relied upon for consulting with and training staff on managing a broad range of health considerations, including allergies, feeding tubes, and seizure response. With a caseload of 78 students on IEPs, your skill and compassion will provide critical support to students, educators, and families alike.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified School Nurse License valid in California
- Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential
- Experience in vision and hearing screenings
- Adept at creating and delivering health-related training for staff
- Familiarity with IEP processes and supporting students with complex medical needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $22.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
