Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing strongly preferred
• Familiarity with school health office operations, policies, and student care plans
• Ability to conduct health assessments, administer medications, and manage emergencies
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with students of all ages

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for students in the health room, including first aid, medication administration, and treatment for injuries or illness
• Monitor and update student health records in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student wellness and accommodate health needs
• Implement individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions or special health concerns
• Promote health education and illness prevention initiatives within the school community
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in school safety protocols
