Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active RN license in the state of New Hampshire (or compact state eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills, especially with adolescent populations
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a dynamic school environment
- Demonstrated professionalism and excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Current CPR and basic life support certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to high school students, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and assist with the development of health care plans for students
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Serve as a health resource and liaison for students, parents, and school staff, providing education on wellness and disease prevention
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to support students academic and health needs
- Respond to health emergencies and effectively coordinate care with external healthcare providers as needed
