Providing essential health services in a school setting, this role offers Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) an opportunity to support the well-being of K-12 students within a dedicated health office. Located in the Enosburg Falls area of Vermont, this contract position involves working 3 to 5 days per week, serving a single schools student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Manage health office operations, including medication administration and emergency care
- Develop individualized health plans and collaborate with school staff and families
- Monitor and document student health records in compliance with state regulations
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an RN or LPN in the state of Vermont
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently within a school health office environment
