Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license in New Jersey
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN required)
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational abilities and quick decision-making in fast-paced environments
- Ability to foster a safe, inclusive, and healthy atmosphere for children and adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to K-12 students
- Administer routine and emergency medication, treatments, and first aid
- Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
- Promote health education for students and staff
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Serve as a liaison between families, school personnel, and external healthcare providers
