- Proven proficiency in tracheostomy care, maintenance, and suctioning
- Ventilator certification and hands-on expertise
- Confidence in administering G-tube medications and managing feedings
- Ability to collaborate with school staff, students, and parents to promote safety and well-being
What youll do:
- Deliver direct nursing care to students, particularly those with medical complexities
- Manage tracheostomy and ventilator equipment, ensuring proper function and care
- Administer G-tube feedings and medications in alignment with physicians orders
- Educate and support students, families, and school personnel in best practices for student health
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate observations with care teams
- Respond to health emergencies swiftly and effectively
