A full-time Certified School Nurse position is available to provide essential nursing support within a dynamic elementary and middle school setting. This onsite role offers an opportunity to flex across four locations, primarily supporting onsite RNs and assisting with Student IEPs. The position requires a licensed Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) who thrives in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health services to students across multiple school sites.
- Provide support to onsite Registered Nurses with health assessments and student care.
- Assist in managing health components of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Flexibly cover nursing duties on a rotating basis among four middle school locations.
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license.
- Experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent healthcare best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt to varied school environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
