This full-time Registered Nurse role offers an opportunity to provide essential health services within a school setting. Working 35 hours per week onsite, the position begins immediately and extends through June 26, 2026. It requires a dedicated professional with hands-on school nursing experiencenot solely clinical healthcare backgroundto support students well-being in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive school nursing care to students across the entire school building
• Collaborate with school staff and administration to promote health and safety initiatives
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with mandated reporting guidelines
• Administer screenings, immunizations, and emergency care as needed
• Provide health education and counseling to students and families

Qualifications:

• Active and valid school nurse licensure and certifications in New Jersey
• Previous experience specifically in a school-based nurse role is mandatory
• Ability to work onsite with district-wide responsibilities
• Completion of required fingerprinting for both the agency and school district
• Up-to-date tuberculosis screening and physical examination clearance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration

Location and Employment Details:

• Position located in Orange, NJ
• Contract role with full-time hours totaling 35 hours per week
• Onsite attendance required for the entire contract duration
