A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to fill a float school nurse position supporting multiple K-12 schools in the Edison, NJ area. This contract role spans the current school year and provides essential healthcare services to a diverse student population with varying medical needs.
Key responsibilities include administering daily medications, managing diabetes/insulin requirements, responding to asthma and life-threatening allergy emergencies, administering seizure medications, and providing catheterization care for students with spina bifida. The role requires flexibility to serve multiple schools, ensuring continuity of care across the district.
Qualifications and experience:
This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from approximately 7:10 AM to 3:45 PM. The contract runs from ASAP through June 18, 2026.
