A Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a contract position located in Edgewater, MD, serving a high school setting. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized nursing services within a school environment from ASAP through June 16, 2026. The position is onsite, requiring 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing coverage for students with full-time nursing support due to medical needs.
- Accompany a student on the bus between home and school, providing necessary nursing care during transit.
- Support another student who requires nursing care while at school.
- Ensure continuity of care and safety during transportation and school hours.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Registered Nurse (MD RN) license is required.
- Experience in school nursing or working with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Ability to manage medical needs in both a school and transportation setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
