A registered nursing professional is sought to provide essential healthcare support within a school environment in Easton, MD. This travel assignment runs from ASAP through June 16, 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week onsite. The role involves working primarily with high school students who have significant medical needs and require continuous nursing care during transportation and throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing coverage for students with full-time medical needs in the school setting.
- Escort a student on the bus to and from home and school, ensuring their medical needs are safely managed during transit.
- Support an additional student requiring nursing care while at school.
- Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland (MD RN) is required.
- Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage complex medical needs in a school environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel.
