This part-time travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a 5th-grade student at a school setting in Pickerington, OH. The role requires a skilled Registered Nurse with specialized pediatric expertise to support the students complex medical needs during school hours on Tuesdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care to a pediatric student requiring 1:1 support
- Manage tracheostomy care and suctioning (oral and trach)
- Administer tube feeding, water bolus, and medications via G-tube
- Assist with AFO splints for hand and leg, wheelchair use, continence care, and Hoyer lift transfers
- Monitor vital signs using a pulse oximeter
- Safely accompany the student on bus transportation to and from school
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in Ohio is required
- Proven critical pediatric nursing experience, particularly in trach and suction care
- Ability to provide compassionate, attentive care in a school environment
- Comfortable performing skilled nursing procedures independently
Location & Schedule:
- Based in Pickerington, OH with travel elements
- Part-time position, one day per week (Tuesdays)
- Start date flexible around December 2025 through May 22, 2026
