Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN/LVN license required
• Prior experience in a school setting or pediatric environment preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Adaptability and a caring, professional demeanor
• Experience with care planning, medication administration, and health documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students for injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records
• Implement individualized health plans and collaborate with school staff
• Offer guidance and health education to students, parents, and teachers
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions
• Promote preventive health practices to minimize absenteeism
