Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active RN license in Illinois
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Clinical experience with g-tube care, feeding, and emergency procedures
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with school personnel and family
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to keep accurate, confidential health records
• Professional, compassionate, and adaptable to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a student with g-tube needs during school hours
• Administer medications or tube feedings per physician orders
• Monitor students health, documenting observations, and reporting changes
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family to support the students academic and health needs
• Serve as a resource on health-related matters in the school environment
• Participate in care plan meetings as needed
