You'll be based in the Baton Rouge area, serving a diverse student body and providing essential healthcare services from now until the end of the school year.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Louisiana RN license is required
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong clinical judgment with an ability to work independently
• Skilled in assessing and responding to student health needs
• Compassionate communicator, comfortable with children and adolescents (K-12)
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining health records

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health assessments and interventions for students in the health room
• Respond to emergencies, manage chronic health conditions, and administer prescribed medications
• Maintain up-to-date health records while adhering to confidentiality guidelines
• Collaborate with school staff and parents regarding student health concerns
• Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Support students across a variety of ages, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day
