Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Previous nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting ideal
• Solid assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies and manage chronic conditions
• Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with school-aged children

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting health assessments for students and staff as needed
• Implementing physician-ordered care plans for students with medical needs
• Administering first aid and medication in accordance with state guidelines and school protocols
• Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
• Promoting healthy habits and providing health education to students and staff
• Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families to help meet student needs
• Ensuring compliance with immunization and safety protocols within the school setting
