This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses seeking a part-time schedule and a chance to make a real impact within one school.
Key Details:
- Assignment: Elementary caseload at a single school
- Schedule: 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 8:009:30 am and 2:454:15 pm; four hours are paid daily regardless of student interaction time
- Duration: ASAP start date through June 20th
Qualifications:
- Active, valid RN or LPN license required
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong assessment, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Must complete district onboarding, which may include fingerprinting and compliance with school policies
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and health support to elementary-aged students
- Administer medications, monitor chronic conditions, and address daily health concerns
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Support the school community in health education initiatives and emergency response planning
- Work closely with teachers and administration to promote student well-being
