Part-Time Registered Nurse Opportunity Elementary School Setting Wakefield, RI
A part-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide dedicated nursing support within an elementary school environment. This role involves working closely with one elementary-aged student, ensuring health and safety needs are met throughout the school day. The position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to make a tangible difference in a young students educational experience.
Location:
- Wakefield, Rhode Island
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and support to an elementary student with specific health needs
- Monitor and manage the students health condition, administering medication and treatments as required
- Maintain detailed health records and communicate effectively with school personnel and family members
- Accompany student on the bus to and from school to ensure safety and well-being
- Collaborate with educational staff to support the students overall school participation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island
- Current CPR certification
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Ability to manage individual health care plans and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Hours and Schedule:
- Part-time role, 4 hours daily (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
- 5 days per week
