Step into a vital evening nursing role at a specialized educational setting, where your clinical expertise will truly make a difference for students with unique needs. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is designed for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse eager to support children and adolescents in a close-knit school community.
Your schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 3pm to 11pm, running through June 2026. The ideal fit will bring a strong background in pediatric care, with at least three years of recent experience and, ideally, a BSN. If youre looking to expand your experience, theres also an overnight opening available.
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum 3 years of pediatric nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience in school nursing settings highly valued
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students who have visual impairments and/or multiple disabilities
General Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evening nursing care to students ages 3 to 21
- Respond to urgent health concerns and medication administration needs on site
- Collaborate with educational and clinical teams to ensure individualized care
- Document health information accurately and according to regulations
- Foster a safe, supportive environment in a residential school setting
