Job Description
A healthcare professional is needed to provide nursing support in a high school setting located in Coraopolis, PA. This is a contract position for the school year (CSY) involving part-time hours to assist a student with specialized medical needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct nursing care to a student with vent/trach requirements
- Accompanying the student to and from school on the bus
- Supporting the student onsite at the school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
- Ensuring medical safety and managing any complications during school and transit
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN or RN license for Pennsylvania
- Proven experience working with ventilator and tracheostomy care
- Ability to travel with the student via bus as part of daily duties
- Strong communication and patient care skills suitable for a school environment
Schedule and Location:
- Part-time, 14 hours per week on Mondays and Fridays only
- Onsite position at a high school in Coraopolis, PA
