A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a contract role supporting K-8 students in Foresthill, CA. This opportunity focuses primarily on providing health services related to Individualized Education Program (IEP) assessments and healthcare management within the school setting. The position requires one day per week on-site, supporting two school locations from preschool through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the Health and Development portions of IEP assessments by completing and submitting detailed reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and be available to review assessment reports with families upon request.
- Develop and update individualized healthcare plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide consultation and training for school staff on specialized care procedures, including tube feeding and EpiPen administration.
- Support students with diverse health-related disabilities to ensure appropriate care within the educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare plans and interventions relevant to K-12 student populations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage caseload independently and maintain detailed documentation.

Contract Duration: September 1, 2026 December 1, 2026
Hours: One day per week
