This part-time position, located near Colorado Springs, CO, offers the chance to make a tangible impact throughout the 26-27 school year, working approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current active RN license in Colorado (or eligibility for license)
• Previous experience in a school nursing, pediatric, or community health setting strongly preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate a dynamic school environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide daily triage and care for student illnesses, injuries, and health needs
• Administer medications and develop individualized care plans for students with chronic illnesses or special needs
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state immunization and health protocols
• Educate students, staff, and families about health topics, illness prevention, and wellness initiatives
• Respond to emergencies and serve as a key contact for health-related issues on campus
• Liaise with parents, teachers, and medical professionals to support holistic student care
