Overview:
This full-time School Nurse position provides essential health services across a K12 districtwide setting. The role is vital in supporting student well-being, ensuring safe practices, and promoting a healthy learning environment. The nurse will collaborate with staff, students, and families while serving as a key medical resource on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver districtwide nursing services for K12 students.
Provide certified emergency response care as needed.
Conduct health and medical screenings in accordance with state guidelines.
Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with educational staff and support student health needs across multiple buildings.
Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations.
Requirements:
Active RN license in New Mexico.
Active NM Educator License (required for school nursing).
Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
