A full-time nursing opportunity is available in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, Florida, specifically in Clearwater. This role focuses on providing one-on-one care to students with complex medical needs in a school setting. Ideal for those with experience supporting individuals requiring specialized healthcare assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students diagnosed with gastrostomy tubes (G-tube), tracheostomies, and epilepsy.
• Monitor and manage medical equipment and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with educational staff to ensure health and safety plans meet individual student needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with caregivers and healthcare providers.
• Provide emergency response and CPR as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida LPN or RN ASN licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience working in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to manage complex medical conditions such as G-tube feeding and tracheostomy care.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Position Details:

• Contract position.
• Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
• One-to-one assignments working closely with individual students.
